SOLD Dal Hunter (dsk)

This is my version of a knife made by the old Marbles Knife Company back in the early 1900s.  It was named after the naturalist, Dall Deweese.  It is a very practical knife that works well as a hunting knife as well as general utility.  This one is made of 01 Tool steel and has a forge finish on the flat and satin on the bevel of the saber flat ground blade blade.  The overall length is about 7 3/4 inches.  The blade measures 3 3/4 inches long and is 1 inch wide.  The handle is a wood I repurposed from an old 1930s or 40s teachers desk.  I'm not sure what it is, but it is beautiful and is rather heavy.  It has steel pins and stainless lined lanyard hole with green paracord lanyard.  The sheath is brown leather form fitted to the knife.
