This is the MCE 1.  It has the same blade profile as the MCE 2 that has a hollow handle.  The base model comes with a 9 1/2 inch blade with saber flat grind in either 1/4 inch thick 80CRV2 or .285 thick CPM S35vn or CPM 154 stainless steel.  It has a straight hilt with holes in it for lashing.  The handle is straight contour and comes in green or black canvas micarta.
