I use the prototype of this knife for trailblazing in these Louisiana woods.  This one is made out of 3/16" thick 01 Tool steel.  I mainly do them in 80CRV2.  The blade is almost 8 inches long and is around 2 1/4 inches at widest point.  It is convex ground with a satin finish.  This on also hass the optional sawteeth and a firestarter groove.  The handle is around 5 1/4 inches long giving it and overall length of about 13 inches.  It has black canvas micarta handle with two loveless bolts and 3 stainless pins and a stainless lanyard hole.  The sheath is dark brown form fitted to the knife and oiled.
